About
Maggie is a family law lawyer in the Parry Sound area. She attended Laurentian University for her undergrad where she obtained an Honours Bachelors in Psychology and Law. She then obtained her law degree from the University of Ottawa. She then received her certification for mediation through the Ontario Family Mediation Association.

Maggie has experienced the separation of her own parents at the young age of 3, as well as the reality of co-parenting with her son's father. Both lived experiences have provided her personal insight and a unique understanding of the emotions felt by both the children and the parents.

After the separation of her parents Maggie knew from a young age she wanted to pursue her law degree in hopes of helping families navigate the difficulties of separation and divorce. While she continues to practice law, mediation has become a passion as it offers a conflict avoidant alternative to the court system.

Maggie believes each individual is the expert of their own lives and no one will know the best solution for your life and your children better than you. Maggie believes mediation offers clients the opportunity to use this expertise to sculpt a resolution that is best for them. Through mediation the clients are in the drivers seat of their own solution and Maggie is along for the ride to help navigate the path forward.

Maggie is a strong believer that while many see separation and divorce as the end, it is also a potential for a new beginning.
